A web browser is used to access the World Wide Web.

Starting Internet Explorer

Double click on the Internet Explorer icon on the desktop

The Address Field

Every Web page has its own address. To view a web page, enter its address into the address field of the browser.

Searching

There are millions of pages on the World Wide Web. A search engine helps you find what you're looking for. Some of the more popular search engines are Yahoo, Google, MSN, and Alta Vista. There are many others.

You shall use Google to find the National Adult Literacy Database (NALD) web site.
