Feb. 18 - 19, 2005: 10 new Tutors were trained at a 12 hour 'Laubach Way to Reading ' Workshop.

Jan. 27 is Family Literacy Day .This year we partnered with the Family Resource Centre and had 'Reading Tents' in the Malls at Bay Roberts and Carbonear.

Oct. 21 - 23 / 04: NLLLC held the AGM in Grand-Falls - Windsor.

Sept. 8 / 04: International Literacy Day

Oct. 17-18/03: Susie Day Volunteer of the Year award presented to Lloyd Rossiter
and
June 18 / 03, Lloyd also accepted the award from the PGI tournament held in St. John's. The PGI Golf Tournaments for Literacy were founded by Peter Gzowski to raise funds to teach people to read and write and to inspire Canadians to celebrate Literacy.
