Workplace Education Manitoba (WEM) is an organization of the Manitoba provincial government that has been helping workers to improve their Essential Skill levels since the early 1990s. By offering skills assessment and training services, WEM is helping individuals and companies to succeed in a struggling economy.

The organization recently opened a multi-classroom, workplace training centre on Waverley Street in Winnipeg. It also has regional coordinators located throughout the province of Manitoba.

Workplace Education Manitoba is directed by a committee of government, labour and business representatives. Its training programs are funded by the Province of Manitoba and the federal government.
