My Dream
Donna Zinck - Lunenburg County Adult Learning Network

When I first started at the Adult Learning Network I was really nervous and scared. I didn't think I would fit in and I didn't think I could do the work, but I stuck with it and felt accepted right away.

I made a lot of friends and was glad I went back to school.

I enjoy coming here and meeting new people. I think I have accomplished a lot so far. My goal is to finish here, go on to Community College and then into a C.C.A. course. I am soon starting employment with Care Choice; it will be part-time for now because they want me to stay in school. That's what I want too.

When I finish classes in May I will be working full-time with Care Choice until September. I hope it works out; this is my dream and that's what I was put on earth to do… to help to look after the disabled and the elderly.

My son is autistic and looking after him is a challenge. I'll be coming to school when I can, after I soon start work. I will be busy, but that's what I want to do to accomplish my dream.
