I came back to school to get better at my math and science so I could take a nursing course. I want to take good care of my girls and have a better life.
With my husband things were very bad. He never wanted to work, and was always drinking and doing drugs. He was abusive and always put me down; he would get the girls to do the same.
I wanted to go to school and become a better person for my girls and for myself, and to prove I can do it. Leaving my husband and coming back to school is the best thing that I have ever done. I was down to the lowest anyone can ever go and I hope that I can make my way back up to the top.
I want to give my girls a better life. I want them to be successful, and in order for that to happen they have to see me do well.
