The Rabbit and the Carrots

Starting paragraph: Rabbit hopped across the field with thoughts of carrots dancing in his head. It was lunch time and he decided today was the day to visit the carrot patch. Rabbit had finally found the courage to go to Mr. Crab's garden. Mr. Crab took great pride in his garden and had many traps and gadgets set to keep rabbits away but Rabbit had a plan.

He......dived into the hole beside the fence and started digging as fast as his little paws would go. Down under the villainous traps he dodged all the wires so he wouldn't set off the traps. When he came out of his hole he saw the scrumptious carrots he wanted. He stepped on an alarm, then Mr. Crab came out with a shot gun and started shooting at the rabbit. The rabbit was too quick for Mr. Crab and dodged all the bullets. The rabbit jumped into the hole and waited until dark to try again when Mr. Crab was asleep. Mr. Rabbit went for the traps again knowing where all the traps were. He tip-toed to the carrot patch. He pulled one carrot but he was still hungry so he headed back for more. He was halfway to the hole when the dogs spotted him. Mr. Crab came out and shot the rabbit in the leg. He crawled into his hole wishing he had never seen Mr. Crab's carrot patch, but luckily Mr. Rabbit was a DOCTOR!!

Crime Doesn’t Pay

Starting paragraph: Rabbit hopped across the field with thoughts of carrots dancing in his head. It was lunch time and he decided today was the day to visit the carrot patch. Rabbit had finally found the courage to go to Mr. Crab's garden. Mr. Crab took great pride in his garden and had many traps and gadgets set to keep rabbits away but Rabbit had a plan.

He...... circumnavigated the traps, tripped over his ears, did a somersault and split his pants. He jumped up and ran home to his mother. Crying he said," Mom, can you mend my pants?" "Mend them yourself," said Mom. Everyday Rabbit was getting in some sort of trouble and she wanted him to learn some responsibility. So Rabbit took some safety pins and pinned his pants together. Unfortunately, he forgot to do one up. He put on his pants and sat down on a sharp pin and he rose and shone.

Moral: That's why rabbits are known as early risers. You can also say they get the point.
