The Garden

Once upon a time there was a bunny that was very hungry. The best place to get food was Mr. Crab’s garden. But, he didn’t let any pests or creatures near his garden except him. One day the bunny decided to get some food. It wasn’t easy. There were a lot of traps!

He writes a note to Mr. Crab and says that he will not try to get any food from the garden. Then Mr. Crab takes all his traps away. He leaves one trap. The bunny sees the trap and takes a fishing rod and casts a line over the trap and hooks onto some of the vegetables. He tugs the line very tightly and the vegetables come flying over his head and into the rabbit’s hole. The bunny invites all of his friends over for a nice carrot feast. They have a toast to Mr. Crab’s garden.

Mr. Crab's Garden

He dug a hole in the field and a tunnel under the garden. He ate some of the carrots and fell in the trap. Mr. Crab came and the bunny dug a hole out of the trap. He went home and went to sleep for another day. He wanted to play with his friends at the theme park on the biggest roller coaster in the world to get sick. He had a good day!

Mr. Crab’s Garden

The rabbit dug under the traps. Unfortunately he bumped into the water pipe and could not go through. He would wait until night and would think of an idea while he waited.

Finally Mr. Crab fell asleep. The rabbit gave the dogs each a bone and he tiptoed passed them. He dug under the carrot garden and pulled the carrots down into his tunnel.

He did this many nights until there were only five carrots left. His wife baked many carrot pies, carrot cakes, carrot cookies and carrot muffins. The rabbit family enjoyed it so much they moved closer to Mr. Crab’s garden.
