ACNE - In your skin, there are
thousands of tiny openings called pores that allow your skin to breathe. When these pores get plugged
(up) with dirt and oil, they get (all) red and inflamed and pimples form. 'When
someone has many pimples, perhaps on their face, their back, or their chest, we
say they have acne. Many people get acne when they become a teenager. That's
when our bodies start changing from a kid's to an adult's body (this period is
called 'puberty'). For normal acne, a dermatologist (a doctor for your skin)
will prescribe a lotion to put on the acne to help clear it up in a few
weeks.
