BRUISES - Ouch! ! Yes, bruises can be ouchees. When an area of your body gets hit, a blood vessel may break and a bruise may form. The bruise will change the color of your skin to yellow, blue, green or purple. It will be sore and will take a little while to go away.

 

BURNS - When something very very hotboy with matches touches a part of your body and injures the skin, we call this a burn. Depending on how severe the burn is, you may experience pain, swelling of the area, blisters and your skin may turn a reddish color. Sometimes the injured skin may peel away as your body is repairing itself by growing a layer of new skin. The burn may have to be placed in cool water or have a sterile bandage put on.
