LARYNGITIS - Our voice box, or larynx, is what allows us to speak. If the larynx becomes inflamed or irritated, either because of a virus or an infection, this is called laryngitis. The throat will feel raw and tickley, the voice will become scratchy.

LEUKEMIA - Is a form of cancer in the blood which affects the white blood cells. White blood cells fight infections. You can't see that the blood has white cells because of all the bright red cells. If you have leukemia your doctor will have to try to get your blood mixing properly. Doctors have all kinds of things they can do to help your blood. They may give you medicine or use another kind of treatment to help you get better.
