 PUNCTURE WOUNDS - is
something that happens to kids when having an object like a stick, knife, pin
or nail stick into your foot, hand, or leg. A puncture wound to the chest, neck
and head, as well as other parts of the body can be very serious and a doctor
must be seen immediately. He might take an x-ray to see if there is anything in
the wound and may stitch it up or place a band-aid over it. A tetanus shot may
be required to help the wound to heal.

RASHES - These
are caused by all kinds of things such as measles, chicken pox, poison ivy,
allergies, heat or any of a long list of various illnesses. Many rashes go away
quickly. Most are itchy as they are healing and they get better quicker if you
don't scratch them. If the rash continues for several days and your Mom and Dad
don't know what it is then you will go to see the doctor.
