One Step Closer to Our Book Stork !! Funding proposals have been submitted for a soft-toy version of our book stork “mascot” to help us raise awareness of our program and provide a cohesive symbol for all sites. graphic: BFB logo (a stork flying through the air with a sling full of books for babies)The proposals requested funding to design, manufacture and distribute 50 book storks so that each Chapter has one of its own. The second step in the project will be to have a competition for children up to 4 years old, to name our book stork! It’s been great to have enthusiastic feedback from Chapters around the province looking forward to involving families in naming the Book Stork.

Database Update: There are more than 3,500 entries in the registration database so far. Thank you for taking the time to fill out the forms or providing as much information as you can. A gentle nudge to those who are not yet convinced it is worth your time and effort … the results will be better with your data included.
