Summary Report of National Survey
on Foundational Training

A national online consultation on Foundational Training in Family Literacy has just been completed through Survey Monkey. The survey was sent out to approximately 180 practitioners across the country who have had involvement in Foundational Training. There were 81 responses, a response rate of 45 per cent. Considering the crisis situation in the field of literacy this fall, the number of responses is quite impressive. Sincere appreciation is extended to all those who took the time to participate. As Foundations in Family Literacy is revised, updated, and modularized, results of the survey will be given serious consideration and reflection.
