Meet the Board of Directors

Tracy Kroeker is a board member with the St. Albert Council. She was formerly employed with St. Paul Further Education Council for 4 years and wholeheartedly believes in lifelong learning. Tracy loves to play slow pitch and fastball, loves country music and vacations in tropical destinations. She is married with an 18month old son, Jordon. Tracy continues to update her skills and knowledge with books and tapes and recommends everyone do the same. She is looking forward to the new challenges that being on the CLN Board will bring and invites the membership to call her any time!

Karoline Fox has been the coordinator for L.E.A.R.N, the Medicine Hat & District Further Education Council for 8 years. In 1989/90 Karoline served as the Administrative Assistant to the CLN (then called the Company of Coordinators). She has always been actively involved in lifelong learning, both as a professional and as a student. Most recently, she completed her B.A. in English through the Athabasca University. Karoline enjoys reading, gardening, walking and live theatre.

Vera Calvert has been the coordinator for Edson & District Community Learning since January 1984. Learning has always been a big part of her life. She has been a teacher, an adult learner in the CACE program, an ESL instructor, and a member of various parent committees at her sons' school. Vera served on the steering committee for the Company of Coordinators, as well as their first Board, and is looking forward to her involvement with CLN. Vera, and her husband, Dennis will be empty nesters in the Fall as their sons Darren (20) and Jonathan (17) will both be attending U ofA. She spends her spare time as a soccer Mom, cycling (approx. 1000 miles/year), reading & photography.
