Increasingly literacy teachers are encouraged to adopt more
learner-centered approaches to teaching in order to help students
move as quickly as possible towards achieving their goals. This is

Language Training in collaboration with Parks Canada. It presents

Canada.

that consider the special needs of learners. The Basic WlDGlT
program (Writing with Symbols) is a system of communication based
on pictures and it was designed for people who have trouble
deciphering regular text.
