Our Committee

Last year's committee members have returned and continue to generously donate their time and talents to keep us alive and well. Without their skills and dedication we'd have a very difficult time surviving These faithful friends are: Emma Cormier, our treasurer; Val Goodwin, PEDVAG co-ordinator and our head of communications; Bob Hall, our town mayor; Jan Leger, school principal and our president; and Christine Bogorode, our facilitator. They have been a god send with their expertise, fund-raising efforts, and advice.

Our Friends

Jerry Hicks is the literacy co-ordinator for the Moncton Community College. He acts as our communication centre. He organizes meetings and workshops for all the Moncton and area CASPs as well as keeping us supplied with materials and the new CASP guidelines. He also helps by reproducing the Moncton CASPs newspaper and our yearbook. His efforts are greatly appreciated.

The Village Office (Lorna Biddle, Bob Halt and Sonia Wells) also deserve recognition as they continue to provide us with classroom space, fax, phone, and photocopying services. Add to that their cheerful faces and friendliness we truly are in a win-win situation.

The Port Elgin Library and Access Centre also play key roles in our daily lives. Wherever we need reference material we have only to cross the hall and find what we need or Betty Davis will attempt to round up that needed book far us. The Access Centre gives us free reign to use their facilities whenever we approach our yearbook deadline.

Finally we wish to thank all of our friends and sponsors for donating the funds and materials we need in order to continue operating. Their names can be seen in the shaded ribbons at the top and bottom of each page (NOTE: printed version only). We encourage you to support them as they support us.
