The Early Learning Centre, Regina, SK, in May, dedicated a fountain to the memory of Dr. Mary Cronin, the co-author of PRINTS. I couldn't think of a more worthy tribute. The rocks surrounding the fountain remind us of the strengths Mary had: she was rock solid. The clearness of the water reminds us that she was honest and direct. There were no hidden messages with Mary. The action of the fountain, the continuous flowing of the water, remind us that Mary's influence was always felt and will be felt. Finally, the children around the fountain, signify Marys' dedication to this group as the core group in society.

The Early Learning Centre, Regina, has always been a strong supporter and promoter of PRINTS, thanks to Ann Luke, and Mary Ann McGrath. They with Mary Cronin, have initiated Aboriginal PRINTS.

Also, in Saskatchewan, PRINTS has been widely supported and promoted by the Saskatchewan Literacy Network. My special contacts at the SK Literacy Network are Helen Woodhouse, and Marilyn Steams.

Funds were obtained this year to revise the Train the Facilitator Program for PRINTS so that it corresponds to the PRINTS Facilitator materials which were revised in 2005. This will allow facilitators to engage in self-training and will lessen the need for training workshops.
