Hello to all students (and their tutors)There is a new Learner's Clubhouse conference on the Internet that has been created so learners can talk daily and learn to type and write better each day. Spelling mistakes are OK because we're all learning. Please put any jokes, problems, thoughts and job contacts. The Learner's Clubhouse is located on the Alphacom website: http://alphacom.gbrownc.on.ca. Member-ship is free. However, you must have access to a computer with an Internet connection. I know each student out there can do anything they want to. At one time, I hid from everyone to cover up my problem of reading and writing. NOW, I have met beautiful people out there who help me. People like you. It has made a whole different life for me and I can feel like I am a person who counts now. Arnie Stewart, in beautiful Niagara Falls P.S. If you have any questions on how to join Alphacom and the
Learner's Clubhouse, please call: From Edmonton, Alberta a P.A.L.S. student writes...Education means a lot. If you don't have very much education people look down at you and like to take advantage of you. They make you feel stupid too. Without enough education it is very hard to get a job that you are interested in and is a good paying job. Your employer likes you to have your grade 12. With education you can do anything you put your mind to. With education you can get a good paying job. With education you don't have to rely on any-body - you can help yourself. It is not too late to learn. If you really think about it you are learning everyday.
