To be or not to be a
friend!
Is someone who is there
Day or night for you
To be a friend is to enjoy
One another's company
Not to be a friend is
worthless
A friend is to be
appreciated
Friends are not jealous
Or competitive
Friends are good
For the heart and soul
We need and want
Them through our lives
We go through them
with the seasons
A friend like you could
never be replaced

The moment of silence is now declared
To remember the soldiers with love and care,
The guns, the blood, the death and the rain
The veterans remember all the pain.
Leaving their families to go to fight
Leaving them in the middle of the night,
Men and women and enemies too
Remembering what they went through.
In Flanders Field the crosses stand
To claim this place and their land.
All the terror and all the horror
That was caused during the war.
During the lonely bugle call
The soldiers stand proud and tall.
We have to stop and remember
The somber ceremony in November.

What is fear?

Scares you? Or is fear
something
Else like your imagination.
Does anyone know what fear is
Or what it does? Does anyone
really know what fear is?

My feelings often hurt
Hurt so hard I can cry
Hurt when people make fun;
making me look dumb. Why
can't they leave me alone or
just go home? I hurt even
when I know those people are
my friends.

I am like a rock
Always kicked and thrown around
Sometimes people step on me
Other people trip me
Sometimes people just throw me
around.
I come in special colours depending
on the mood.
I come in different shapes
And people need me for things.
I'm well rounded, smooth, and
sometimes rough.
I am like a rock

I always enjoyed helping others any way I could. I went int peer tutoring wondering how 1 could assist other students. When I was introduced to the students who were in need of help, and I was the one who the student looked up to, I did my best. That was two years ago, and today I am still tutoring.

The one thing that has always stuck in my mind is, "Not only is the student learning from you, but you are also learning from the student." You also become friends, and that is something that will always be treasured.
