President's Message
Bruce Jenner, People with Learning Disabilities are no strangers to hard work. When we struggle with reading, math or writing it takes a lot of effort to do the things that many people take for granted. It also takes courage to keep pushing on and not give up when the going gets tough. Many students have just completed another school year and have given their best effort to become better at reading, math or writing. They have also had help along the way from their parents, teachers and friends who have encouraged them or helped them with their learning. To all of you: Job well done! I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate those students with LD who have graduated from high school, community college, university, or any other kind of educational program. I hope you celebrate every success that you so richly deserve! School is out and summer is here at last… a time for a well earned break to relax, get outdoors, swim, camp, garden or do whatever the warm sunny days inspire us to do! I also hope we pause and reflect on all that has happened this past school year – the successes, the things we would do differently, and all the lessons learned… ![]() All the best, Kathrin Pader |
