LDANB PresidentHappy New Year from LDANB President

Dear Board Members, Members, Parents, Supporters, Associations and local chapters:

This is a notice to inform you that LDAC has a new logo (see above), which we are
incorporating into LDANB/TAANB material and website. Our chapters will be doing the same. The definition of the logo, corresponding to the three outer components of the logo, is as follows:

  1. Collaboration - Many people working together to support and accommodate
  2. Potential - Helping people lift off and achieve
  3. Hope - Optimism, aiming high and working with passion

The new brand identity approved by the Board in June succeeds on all three fronts.

The slogan pulls it all together. As an association we work to protect the rights of people with LD to learn, while
empowering them - through support and accommodation - to achieve their full potential as learners, employees
and citizens.

“This week, make a determined effort to stop and encourage the people in your life who may be feeling like just a spoke in a wheel. Be cheerful in your encouragement and generous in your praise and let them know that they
matter and that they make a difference!”
