![]() Learners' network meeting Miramichi![]() Music and storytelling are important to the life and culture of people in the Miramichi.. This will be a n evening to get to know each other and have a lot of fun! Learners from literacy programs across the province will meet in Miramichi May 11th through May 13th. Schedule of events: May 11 evening—Miramichi Kitchen Party– local culture, stories and music. May 12—Writing workshop and business meeting May 12 evening—special guests of the NBCC graduation ceremony for CASP students. May 13—depart for home. Limited to 20 participants. An election will take place at the business meeting in the Miramichi. This person must be a learner in a literacy program or someone who has been out of a literacy program less than two years. The President is expected to:
The President of the Learners' Network should be able to speak in front of an audience, have an outgoing personality and be able to take time away from their home and classroom to attend up to five meetings a year and up to two events per year.
