Announcement

Catherine O’Bryan has been appointed to the position of Executive Director of the PEI Literacy Alliance by the Board of Directors. Catherine joined the Alliance in 1994 as Administrative Assistant. She has been the Acting Executive Director for the past year, while Dianne Morrow took a leave of absence.

Dianne has decided to continue as Director of the Lucy Maud Montgomery Institute, and the Board was pleased to offer the position to Catherine.

At this special time of year, I would like to wish you all success in your endeavors in 2001 (and in the Third Millenium!)

The Alliance has a busy year planned with workshops and family literacy activities across the province.

If any of our readers work with families, and have information you wish to share at our Family Literacy Carousel, please give the Alliance office a call. The carousel is at the Charlottetown Mall on January 27th. We look forward to seeing you there.
