Thank you
The Department of Education staff collected a generous
cash donation for the Alliance.
Well
done
The Department of Community and Cultural Affairs and
the TD Bank partnered to provide books for Grade one
students across the Island. They invited children to visit their local
public library to receive their free book. This literacy initiative
was made possible through a partnership between the Provincial Library
Service, the TD Financial Group and the Canadian Children's Book Centre.
Thanks
to the Morell Regional Community Learning Centre for
hosting tutor training for Laubach Literacy in October.
Congratulations
Alliance Board member Joanne McCabe received the 2003
Humanitarian Award from the Psychological Association of PEI.
