Throughout these years I have experienced many positive changes. It has been enjoyable to see the changes in literacy over those many years. The future of Laubach Literacy-NS will be challenging for all those involved. I believe we need to have a proactive stance in relation to promoting programs and training throughout the province. It is essential to our organization that we have public awareness of the three major programs (Each One Teach One, Family Literacy, and Peer Youth Tutoring) offered by LLC-NS. It is also important to promote high expectations and values throughout the organization, exhibit a clear vision for the organization, and that we are open and responsive to new ideas. It is clear we must work as a team to promote literacy throughout the province of Nova Scotia. We are fortunate to have Susan King as our field services co-ordinator to assist us as a team in meeting our future needs. Thank you to those who have put an effort in promoting literacy throughout the province in the past. I look forward to working with you in the future.¨ ![]() Congratulations Congratulations to Christina MacQuarrie for being a finalist in the Canada Post Literacy Awards 2000 in the Educator category.
