The word spread fast, as already we are getting calls from teachers and tutors who missed this session and would like to have training in Level I. Given the huge response, it is our hope that we will be able to have Bea offer both levels in the Fall. The best way to describe the success of the training is to share participants' own responses. A selection of those responses appears below. Space permits only a few. "Bea gave me what I had been missing in my teacher training She was able to provide me with the theory and tools of CEA. Her skills are impressive. She communicated a lot of information with SOUL." "I found the CEA method workshop to be clear, practical, beneficial, applicable and inspiring. It has given me a basis and organization from which I can help my students." "I believe that now I will be more accurate and precise in what I want to accomplish in the classroom. I also believe the staff at my school will be very interested in what I will be doing. I think the CEA method will spread." "I feel confident that the CEA method and your efforts have inspired my professional and personal domains. I will use this method and look forward to taking Level II in the future. Learning to learn is so important and I now have the grasp of a process-laden tool. Thank you." "I enjoyed this workshop very much not only for the content, methodology and facilitator, but also for the group involved. I found it very inspiring to spend these 4 days with a group of people who are all highly motivated to become mediators and better teachers. There was a great feeling of togetherness; what we had to get through was tough, but together we made it more fun, manageable and productive." "Excellent workshop! As good as the workshop was, Bea is even better. Her enthusiasm, charm, energy and knowledge are inspirational. Research should be conducted into how that could be bottled and later diffused in classrooms. Thanks a lot." The workshop was clearly a huge success. LPQ will inform our readers of plans to offer Levels I and II of CEA Training in Fall 2001. |
