Planning for the 2004 PGI Golf Tournament for Literacy has been well underway for several months. We are extremely excited about this year’s tournament because our partnership with The Gazette and Raise-a-Reader has extended to the golf tournament to make it a joint venture. This seems to be a perfect fit, as Raise-a-Reader does for children’s literacy what the PGIs have always done for adult literacy. The result promises to make an even greater impact on literacy in Quebec. This year’s tournament will be held at Club de Golf Le Blainvillier in Blainville on Tuesday June 8, 2004. Larry Smith, President and Publisher of The Gazette will once again be our Honorary Chairperson. In addition to an excellent golf course, the day will feature a number of celebrity golfers and many great prizes. For information about the tournament, please call |
