Learners: a time to remember, a time to act!

THIS NEWSLETTER is dedicated to the life of Joy Coldwell, MCL Learner Representative from the Yukon. Joy died in March, after living for many years with cancer. She was a model of courage, dedication and joyfulness.

This quote is from the tribute to her.

“We know Joy respected all and embraced all. We saw her as the perfect connection between grassroots literacy and policy maker, between learner and volunteer, between the literate and the not so literate.”

Liesel Briggs,
