Learners your voice is important Literacy Action Campaign 2002 Learners have inside knowledge about what its like to have problems with reading and writing, and about what helps and what gets in the way of going back to school. MCL believes that all Canadians should have a chance to get the education they need to get decent jobs, take good care of their families and participate in their communities. To make that happen, we need to convince governments and the general public how important it is. Thats the reason for MCLs Fall 2002 Literacy Action Campaign. This issue of Learners in ACTION talks about some of the things you and your teachers can do to support the campaign and make your voice heard.
