Every year on International Literacy Day, Canada Post presents their awards to educators, community groups, businesses and individuals (learners) for their work on behalf of literacy. For the individuals / learners who receive the award it is recognition of the enormous efforts they have made to educate themselves and to work for other learners. They are all our heroes.
