The two volumes contain six short biographies of Canadian women who worked in the early part of the 20th century, written for adult literacy students reading at a Grade 4 to 6 level. Also included in the series is a Workbook with reading and writing exercises that relate to each section.

Eager to Learn: A Course on Family Literacy (1999)
