Know It All Readers (1998) by Harriet Griffey and Malcolm Yorke
A series of readers which includes the following titles : Volcanoes and other Natural Disasters; Secrets of the Mummies and Beastly Tales: Yeti, Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster. The Inuksuk Book (1999) by Mary Wallace
Inuksuk means "things that can act in the place of a human being". These are stone markers made by the Inuit, and could be used in different ways. In discussing each of the uses readers are also treated to an introduction to the way of life of the Inuit and the North. Although some of the vocabulary in this book is advanced, even struggling readers will love it.
