Reader's Theatre for the Mentally Challenged (1997)

Reader's Theatre is the art of story telling. Handbook includes six scripts, and minimal acting is required as voices are relied upon to interpret the literature and to portray emotion. Participants practice a script, but never memorize it, reading and rereading until fluency is achieved. Scripts can be edited so as to include all levels of readers, and they can be developed from a student`s own experience.
