WRITERS CORNERWe have a treat this month, one of the students from the Adult Learning Centre in Ear Falls, Heather Gamble, has written a poem and entered it to the “Poetry Institute of Canada”. They called to tell her that she made it to the finals and it will be published in the book, “Island Dream”. Needless to say, she is very excited and is very anxious to find out if she will win or not. Heather has been a student in Ear Falls since the Spring and is attempting to get her GED It is a beautiful poem and she has given her permission for us to share it with you. Our warmest congratulations go out to Heather for such a beautiful poem and keep up the good work. Empty SpaceAs night slips over me Where you should be. Tears fall, the loneliness creeps into
