On-line Meetings: The BEST way to get & share
information.
Taken
from: TechCorner, by Maret Kapp, Information Resource Officer,
AlphaCom
AlphaCom is the on-line meeting place where you can get
information and interact on topics of interest. You can post messages, pictures
and files that others can read and reflect on. It is a wonderful opportunity to
keep your finger on the pulse of what is happening in the Network and LBS
field.
To get
started, go to the AlphaPlus website at
http://alphaplus.ca and click on
AlphaCom on the left menu. Then click on
AlphaCom discussion. First time users click on
Register, and follow the instructions. The
discussion page for the Simcoe/ Muskoka Literacy Network is located under the
English Private menu.
For
complete instructions, please contact the Network office at
simcoe.muskoka@rogers.com
Remember, this is our own, private meeting place. Attend on-line
meetings oftenyoull be glad you did! Oh, and youll need to
bring your own coffee!
Did
you know...
Two trucks loaded with a thousand copies of Rogets Thesaurus
collided as they left a New York publishing house last Thursday, according to
the Associated Press. Witnesses were stunned, startled, aghast, taken aback and
stupefied. |
