Safety on the Farm

As an inmate at Salmonier you are living on a farm. You are expected to work and most often that work requires that you be around farm vehicles, equipment and chemicals. Yon must always be aware of the dangers that this involves.

Remember, every year people on farms get injured because they are careless. Always be careful when you are around farm equipment. Always READ the warning signs that are displayed on tractors, on other equipment and on the sides of containers, boxes and bags.

You must never play or carry-on when around farm equipment. Never ride on or hold on to moving farm equipment or vehicles. Always be alert and act in a careful cautious manner.
