The Strength of a Father!

Most inmates at Salmonier are fathers. With fatherhood come many responsibilities and obligations. It is important, if for no other reason, for a father (or parent) to carry out those responsibilities with concern, commitment, care and caution. Children are innocent and immature and they depend on their father (and their mother) for strength, courage and unconditional (no strings attached) love. As a father, it is your job to give love to your child(ren) without ever expecting or wanting anything in return.

Fathers, Do not take your job lightly. The job of being a father (a good father) is a serious, important job. Where else do children learn their morals, ethics and right from wrong? I leave this question open for you to answer.

Last month we paid tribute to Our mothers. Father's Day will be on June 21, 1998. Think about your father on this day and if you are a father yourself - think about the job that you do as a father.
