God’s Love

God’s love knows no limits to its endurance. God’s love believes the best about people, imputes the best motives to their actions. It gives them the benefit of the doubt trusting them until evidence proves otherwise. His love hopes for the best, even in the face of adversity. It hopes through disappointments, never giving up. When we check our life according to God’s standard of love in action I wonder what our rating would be?

A chaplain came to a wounded soldier:

"Shall I read to you from the Bible?” He asked. would rather have a drink of water.” replied the soldier. ‘The chaplain brought the water. Then the soldier said, “I need something under my head.” The chaplain made a pillow of his The chaplain covered him with his jacket. The soldier then said, “If there’s anything in that Book that makes a person do what you have done for me, please read it to me."

That is God’s love in action. If we are to be the kind of people lie wants us to be than we have to show that kind of love.

We are to he God’s hand and feet in this world of and if we are to reach the people that He has given us to minister to we must alsohave His kind of love. In this life we have three great lasting qualities --Faith, Hope and Love. The greatest of is LOVE.

The Holy Spirit gives us unlimited power to love others with His love.

I want take this to say how thankful I am to God for giving me the privilege to be involved in this ministrey. It has given me so much more than I have given. I pray for you inmates and guards often that God will keep you in us care and in His love. God bless and keep you all.
