I would like to take this opportunity to Congratulate Mr. Dennis Ryan and the inmates who worked on this edition of "Time on the Line". It is great to see this little newsletter up and running again. I applaud the efforts of all who are involved with this endeavour.

My own time on the line has been brief but very enjoyable. It has also been a tremendous tremendous learning experience. SCI is a unique and challenging operation, particularly the farming operation. I look forward to the opportunity to work with staff and the offenders who are incarcerated at SCI.

I would like to encourage all of our offenders to participate and avail of the programming at SCI. It is my hope that the school will be available on a regular basis, therefore I would encourage all of our offenders to take advantage of this opportunity. Seeing positive opportunities and meaningful experiences will assist you in reaping the rewards of living a more pro-social lifestyle and therefore may assist you in staying out of jail.

In conclusion I would like to say that I really enjoy reading "Time On the Line' and find the newsletter informative and interesting. I wish Mr. Ryan and the offenders who work on the paper every success.
