This day of presentations and networking served as an
introduction to some of the issues which would be discussed during the Forum
itself. Speakers shared their views on the work of the Workplace Education
Practitioner, presented innovative accreditation models and described
professional development initiatives from their regions. A survey outlining
some Manitoban views on accreditation and certification was presented.
To round off the afternoon, a reception was hosted by the NLS to
allow Forum participants, speakers and Manitoba practitioners to network and
share information.
