Community Literacy of Ontario welcomes you to the Lifelong Learning for Literacy Practitioners (LLLP) website.
The LLLP website offers valuable information, resources and links to support literacy practitioners in their ongoing training and learning needs. If you are new to the literacy field or if you are an experienced practitioner, the LLLP website has tools, resources and training links to enhance your skills. Further, if you are a literacy practitioner seeking to work in another literacy sector or if you are someone seeking employment in the literacy field, then this website will tell you about the educational and skills requirements for each sector. Community organizations and Employment Ontario agencies will also find this site helpful because it will give them accurate information about the roles, skills and experience of their literacy partners. It will tell them what kind of training is valued in the literacy field. Finally, if you are “just visiting,” the LLLP website will give you a good understanding of what is involved in becoming a literacy practitioner and in keeping your skills up-to-date.
