Required Education and Experience
School Board Sector
While the Ontario Association of Adult and Continuing Education School Board Administrators (CESBA) was formally incorporated in 1999, it has been informally representing the broad spectrum of adult and continuing education, including literacy programming, offered by public, Catholic and francophone school boards within Ontario for several decades. These programs are funded by government departments (both federal and provincial) as well as by individual and business fee-paying clients. CESBA itself receives core and project funding to coordinate the work of school board literacy programs of the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. CESBA, an Ontario incorporated non-profit organization, is governed by a Board of Directors elected at the annual general meeting. (Source: www.cesba.com/index.htm)
