Introduction
Learning incorporates a number of skills and activities such as: questioning, interpreting, analyzing, processing and using information, applying new knowledge to situations, integrating current experiences with past experiences. All of this can lead to many challenges for instructors and tutors when working with adult literacy students.
This module is designed to be an introduction to instructional strategies and to the development of activities that will help you meet these learning challenges. It also provides valuable strategies, tools and resources, including the Ontario Literacy and Basics Skills (LBS) levels for each of the learning domains.
