Strategies
- Discuss the importance of attendance, punctuality, time management
and how they relate to everyday life, to employment
and to school settings.
- Work with the students to determine appropriate break
times, expectations around homework, etc.
- Discuss life skills such as health and nutrition and
how they impact learning.
- Encourage learners to try to problem-solve on their
own before asking for help.
