Operation Upgrade
This nongovernmental literacy organization battles the problems of poverty, malnutrition, and HIV/AIDS through literacy development. Operation Upgrade’s growing network of trained community facilitators works with the poorest and most marginalized of people in South African society.
Project Literacy
Project Literacy is a 24 year old Non-Government Organisation working
in the field of Adult Basic Education and Training. It reaches 2500 Adult
Learners annually at centres in Gauteng and Middelburg (Cape). 67 community
based organisations are presently serviced nationwide.
