Engaged in Strategic Planning
|
Over the
past quarter century, LLNB has progressed to a point where it is difficult to
conduct business using "old ways." The current Strategic
Planning process will focus on
moving the organization ahead to meet the new reality of conducting business as
a nonprofit organization in the 21st century as well as the specific challenges
of delivering literacy services in the current political and economic
environment. Sadly, we are just barely scratching the surface when considering
the illiteracy rates in New Brunswick. We can do better...we must do better to
meet the needs of the New Brunswick population! In order to achieve this goal,
we must be receptive to change and open to new ways of doing things. With your
support and the input of key stake- holders, a new 4-year Strategic Plan will
be presented to the LLNB membership for approval in October 2002 which will
provide the foundation for LLNB to not only remain viable but to thrive in the
coming years.
