Adult Learning, Department of Education - Nunavut
Education provides the path and guides the lifelong learning journey of Nunavummiut
by providing excellence in education and training so that Nunavummiut benefit
from their past and create their own future for a productive, prosperous society.

Kitikmeot Heritage Society
The Kitikmeot Heritage Society preserves and promotes the oral traditions, place
names, language, culture and archaeology of the Inuit of the Kitikmeot Region
of Nunavut.

Nunavut Library Association
The Nunavut Library Association provides a forum for discussion, encouragement and professional development for its members. It's mission is to support anyone working in or with Nunavut libraries and to represent all types of libraries in Nunavut. The association serves as an advocate for excellent library services for Nunavummiut with all levels of government and other agencies, and promotes library services and literacy in the official languages of Nunavut.
Nunavut Literacy Council
This is a literacy council that promotes literacy in Nunavut in all
official languages by providing information about literacy, programs
and resources.
Northern Workplace/ Workforce Literacy Partnership
This group is composed by educators, employers and government officials from Nunavut and the Northwest Territories with a strong interest in workplace and workforce literacy development in the north.

Tools for Community Building
Tools for Community Building is a tool kit of resources that you may find useful in planning and carrying out local projects and community activities. This tool kit was originally developed by the Nunavut and NWT Literacy Councils in 2002.
