- Flag-raising in City Hall Memorial Square
- Declaration by city council
- Learners presentations and monthly meeting at city hall
- Books for Babies-fabric book bag filled with books and reading tips is given to each baby born Sept. 8th
Family Literacy Day:
- Citywide celebrations and
presentations take place
throughout the week of January 27th
