• Workshops run from October through June.
• Workshops include Adult Learners and Learning Styles, English as Second Language Learner and Tutor, English as a Second Language Tutoring Basics, Reading, Writing, Spelling, Learning Disabilities and Violence and Learning.
• Tutors attend those workshops that apply to their tutoring needs.

PLAIN LANGUAGE WORKSHOP

• Businesses and agencies need to communicate clearly with their clients.
• This workshop focuses on written communication.
• Come to this workshop and get your message across to more people!
• Participants will receive a Clear Language and Design screen, a handy laminated tool, to assist you in communicating more clearly.
• Please bring a written item that you want to improve. (Optional)
