Introducing – New Skills North Simcoe –a new service offered by the Midland Area Reading Council. Profits generated from this initiative go towards funding reading, writing, math and other programs offered by MARC in our community.
The Midland Area Reading Council is honoured to be the recipient of the Huronia Community Foundation’s 10th Anniversary Grant. The $5,000 grant will be used to launch the Literacy Partnership. The project will include the Midland and Penetanguishene Public Libraries as partners. Check back for details of upcoming events. New Skills North Simcoe is now offering a variety of courses and workshops at competitive prices, for people of all ages. Our courses and workshops are flexible and geared to improving skills for personal and/or employment-related purposes. We provide small group and one-to-one instructional classes.
